Kasset is a European company, based in Brussels. By default, conversations are hosted, stored and processed in the European Union. The site does not use third-party cookies, such as Google Analytics, to send visitor data to the United States.

Where a conversation goes

Three European providers

By default, a recording is stored, hosted and understood in France. That path does not fall back to a region outside the European Union.

The audio of a recording is stored with Scaleway, in Paris. Each file is an opaque object. No name and no email address is written on it.

Application hosting

The Kasset application, its database and its queues run on Scalingo. Accounts, transcripts, notes and search live there, in France.

AI processing

Mistral

France

Speech to text, the notes, and Ask Kasset run on Mistral, a European language model. Your conversations are not used to train models.

Your choice

Other AI providers, only if you opt in

Some teams want a particular model. A workspace administrator can allow AI providers that are American companies: ElevenLabs for transcription, and Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI (GPT) for notes and Ask Kasset. It stays off until the administrator turns it on and agrees to a notice that says what is sent where, and it can be turned off at any time.

Storage and hosting stay in France either way, and search, suggestions and automations stay on Mistral. A chosen provider receives only what that step needs. Anthropic and OpenAI do not train on it; ElevenLabs keeps audio and transcripts on its standard plan. The details are in the privacy policy, and what this means under the GDPR is in the GDPR guide.

The website

No cookies for Google

Kasset does not drop advertising or tracking cookies. There is no Google Analytics tag, no marketing pixel, and no session replay sending people who visit this site to the United States.

Page views are counted with Plausible. It sets no cookie, and it is processed in the European Union. The app keeps one session cookie so you stay signed in. That cookie belongs to Kasset.

The company

Made in Brussels

Kasset is made by Bromance Studio SRL, a Belgian company in Brussels. The company is European. The hosting is European. By default, the models are European and conversations stay inside the Union.

Signing in with Google or Microsoft is optional, and so is connecting a tool you already use. If you do, that provider receives only what the step needs. Recordings stay in Europe unless your administrator opts in to AI providers outside the EU, or you ask Kasset to send a specific excerpt to a tool you connected. Every sub-processor is named in the privacy policy.
