Works with your Plaud, in the room and on phone calls.
Kasset is a note taker, not a sales suite. It records your calls
from your own computer, so nobody waits in the lobby, and hands you
notes, decisions and next steps in one calm app.
Both are Belgian and both keep your data in Europe. The difference is
what it takes to record a conversation, and what you open afterwards.

A meeting bot needs a calendar invite, a guest pass and sometimes
the host's approval, and everyone sees it arrive. Kasset records
from your Mac instead, so the call looks exactly as it did before.
Invitees get a short email beforehand, not a stranger in the
grid.

One app, not a suite
Notes you read in a minute
Leexi is built as a suite for sales and recruiting teams, with
scorecards, CRM autofill and a dozen tools around the meeting. Kasset
does one thing: every conversation, online or in the room, becomes a
clean note with what was decided and who does what next.

Same notes everywhere
Your Mac, your phone, your Plaud
A call on your Mac, a voice note on your phone, a client visit on your
Plaud: they all land in the same library, look the same and answer
the same search. Ask Kasset what was agreed, or ask from Claude and
ChatGPT.
What is the best Leexi alternative without a meeting bot? +
Kasset. Like Leexi, it is a Belgian company that keeps your data in
Europe, but it records Meet, Teams and Zoom from your computer, so no
assistant joins the call. It also connects to a Plaud recorder for the
conversations that happen in the room and on the phone.
Does Leexi join meetings as a bot? +
Yes. Leexi's documentation says its assistant joins the meeting as a
silent participant, prepared from your connected calendar. On Google
Meet it joins as a guest, and on Zoom the host has to approve the
recording. The alternative is importing Zoom or Teams cloud recordings.
Does Leexi work with a Plaud recorder? +
We found no hardware support on Leexi's published pages; in person, it
records on its phone app. Kasset connects to a Plaud Note Pro or NotePin
S directly, so conversations in the room, and phone calls on the Note
Pro, become Kasset notes.
Can I record phone calls with Kasset? +
Yes, with a Plaud Note Pro on Kasset Pro. Attach it to the back of your
phone and it records both sides of the call. Leexi's mobile app does not
record phone calls; it imports calls from phone systems such as Aircall
and Ringover instead. Check the rules on recording calls where you and
the other person are.
Is Kasset European and GDPR-ready too? +
Yes. Kasset is made in Brussels, stores and processes conversations in
France by default, never trains models on them, and works as your
processor under a DPA governed by Belgian law.
Kasset and the GDPR.
Can I move my Leexi recordings to Kasset? +
There is no Leexi importer today. Keep your Leexi archive, and let
Kasset take the notes from your next conversation on.
Put it on kasset
Meetings, voice notes and real-world conversations, captured in Europe
and ready when you need them.
Leexi is a Belgian company in Brussels. Its privacy policy says it is
hosted on AWS servers in Europe, and its trust centre lists ISO 27001.
Leexi's documentation says its assistant joins Google Meet, Teams, Zoom
and other platforms as a silent participant, prepared from a connected
calendar; on Meet it joins as a guest, and on Zoom the host must approve
recording. Zoom and Teams cloud recordings can be imported instead. We
found no Mac or Windows desktop app and no hardware or Plaud support on
Leexi's published pages. Its mobile app records in person, and its
documentation says it "does not record a phone call, even on
speakerphone"; phone calls come from phone-system integrations such as
Aircall and Ringover. Leexi describes itself as an AI suite, with CRM
autofill, scorecards and coaching tools, and has an MCP server.
About Kasset
Plaud devices connect on Kasset Pro; phone calls need a Plaud Note Pro,
and the NotePin S records in person only. Kasset has no importer for
Leexi recordings, and no CRM sync or sales scorecards. Kasset is on Mac
first; Windows is coming, and the iPhone and Android apps are in beta.
The recording notice reaches invitees of meetings on a connected
calendar, up to 30 minutes before; it does not reach people who are not
on the invitation.
